Crystal and Natasha Poholka have been singing in church since they were little girls. They began work on their first sacred album "Classic Grace" before reaching their teenage years and immediately after its completion were invited to perform at the A.S.I international convention which was broadcasted live by 3ABN television. Safe TV president and CEO Carlos Pardeiro, who was himself performing that Thursday night, heard the girls and invited them to perform on his original show "Purely Music" (which is now also broadcasted on the SDA owned "Hope Channel"). Thanks to the kindness and support of Carlos and Safe TV the girls were given international exposure and won a Silver Angel Award in Music (other winners include Roy Rogers and Randy Travis). From that time on Crystal and Natasha have enjoyed traveling and performing at various churches across the United States and in Canada, Ukraine, Australia and New Zealand (where they had their own tour) and have released a second album entitled, "For Unto Us."
In addition to performing at Seventh Day Adventist churches, camp meetings and special events, Crystal and Natasha have trained at the Westchester Conservatory of Music and performed for two years in a row at their honor’s recital. They also sang in the teen’s chorus at the conservatory’s 75th anniversary at Lincoln Center. They won a place in the 'Curtis and Kuby Christmas Carol Contest' and had their music played on WABC (the number one station in the tri-state area) and have also been featured on numerous other television and radio programs.
Both girls believe that they have been given their voices for a reason and hope that their ministry together will inspire and uplift their listeners.
Of Music Ellen G. White writes, "There are those who have a special gift of song... the ability to sing is a talent of influence, which God desires all to cultivate and uses to his names glory."
And from the great book of all, the psalmist David writes, "O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory." Psalms 96:1
